I have to say, this is a sweet sweet ride for the 2012 set (the non-zombie infected ones with gold bars to trade as global markets have collapsed). This all electric submersible whip by Rinspeed might only be a concept car, but it works!
Able to reach depths of up to 10 meters, float, and drive it’s self! Expect to see this in the next Bond/Borne/TransporterIII movie.

OMG!!! Every band I’m ever in, from here on out, will be brining these to our merch table. These little baby’s happen to be CDR’s printed and cut to look like 3.5″ floppies.
The nostalgia/geek factor is super high, but so is the price. $14 each for the privilege. And you can forget about using it any slot-loading drive, so that counts me and my 3 macs right out

Just take a look at what the future has in store for us. The juvenile-muppet-robot version of Richard Simmons is awaiting it’s official release for what is sure to be the end-all-be-all gift of the 2008 Christmas season.
If you manage to find a few of these before it gets cold out again, you should be able to ebay them for more then the balance on your student loans.

Forbes Magazine just compiled statistics for the largest 150 US cities, judging them on crime, unemployment, super fund sites, cost of living, and some other misery inducing factors.
To those of us living here it comes as no surprise. Our murder rate is high, our cops are racists, our parking authority is a parasite, there is piss everywhere, (Seriously, WTF? why are there no public restrooms? The El smells like a ferret cage.) and zombies could walk around north philly for a month before people would notice something strange.
BUT! we have: Zombies, Rust, Abandoned buildings to explore, an experimental music scene, non-annoying hippies, Vientiane, we keep it “Real”, and rent is way cheaper then NY.
